Peter Calderbank, Chief Executive
Peter is a qualified Chartered Accountant. After a number of commercial finance roles, he joined the national charity, BSS, as Finance Director in 1998. BSS provides information, support and advice to people through the delivery of high quality information services. In 2002, he was appointed as Chief Executive of BSS.
In addition to his time as Chief Executive of BSS he has sat on a number of boards in a non-executive capacity. These have included being Chairman of the London Early Years Foundation, Chairman of The Helplines Association (THA) and being a trustee of the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO). He is currently Vice-chairman of The Helplines Partnership.
Peter joined Field Lane as Chief Executive at the beginning of 2015.
Jacky Owen, Director of Operations
Jacky started her career as a Learning Disability Nurse. Jacky went on to qualify as a physiotherapy technician and worked in a special project for people with severe disabilities. After completing a diploma in counselling she worked in local government, managing and setting up projects for young people, mothers and babies, travellers and people with mental health issues.
From there she joined a large organisation where she managed a Drug and Alcohol Residential Service, alongside a bail unit for serious offenders and Mother and Baby units.After setting up a 40 bed new hostel for homeless single people in Brighton, Jacky joined Field Lane as a Care Manager in 2000. She was appointed as Director of Operations in 2007. Since then she has been responsible for growing the organisation’s work, building Field Lane’s reputation for strong services with a client centred approach.
Colin Levins, Director of Finance
Colin was most formerly CEO of a company that he co-founded called Platform Black which is now a leading alternative commercial finance provider in invoice finance which has received numerous industry awards as a new alternative finance lender for its invoice trading and supply chain finance offerings. Colin is a business studies graduate of Trinity College Dublin and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Crowe Clark Whitehill in London in 1987. He has extensive industry sector knowledge in property, retail, professional services, technology, finance, fund and wealth management, family offices and private equity gained in the profession and working as a partner at Knight Frank (£400m turnover international property agent and consultancy), Chartwell Land (Property arm of Kingfisher Plc), Blockbuster Video, London and Capital etc. He is experienced in covering organisations in scale and size from start up to multinational businesses.Colin joined Field Lane as Director of Finance in March 2015.
